tō is a co-creative ensemble of seven artists and guests: making music, dance,

theatre, visual art.

tō: boundless, integrative, perceiving all music in one stream. By giving sound to

one's own inner spaces of tension the members of tō enter into dialogue—being

inspired, getting involved—everything is possible and desired. The seven

individuals always meet at eye level. When they come together, they make a

precise plan but are constantly confronted by the unknowns of unfamiliar worlds.

It is a joint composing: framework and rules, space and people, modes of work,

harmony, groove, objects and movement. These materials are set together to open

up unimagined worlds that transcend the horizon of each individual and allow a

common one to emerge.
